Stronghold's mission is to provide fast, secure, and accessible financial services for all. Through our developer APIs, we enable pay-by-bank embedded payments and financial services while pushing the boundaries of financial innovation. Our SHx token is a key component of our ecosystem, supporting merchant rewards, DeFi-based financing, and governance.
We're a fast-moving, data-driven team committed to compliance, scalability, and innovation. We value curiosity, autonomy, and creative problem solving and we're looking for someone excited to bring a marketing edge.
As our Senior Marketing Associate, you'll work across Stronghold and SHx to produce high-quality marketing content that supports social growth, campaign execution, and product storytelling. You'll manage and grow our online communities, serving as the team's ear to the ground on community sentiment by surfacing trends, concerns, and feedback and reporting findings back regularly. You'll operate in a fast-paced, execution-heavy role where you collaborate with the team to bring our brand voice to life across multiple platforms. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Execute daily operations for Stronghold and SHx’s social presence (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Discord, TikTok, Instagram).
- Manage and grow online communities, including moderating conversations, responding to questions, and keeping members informed on product and ecosystem updates.
- Serve as the team's ear to the ground and monitor community sentiment, surface emerging trends or concerns, and report findings back to the team regularly.
- Use creative tooling to create marketing collateral: social assets, blog posts, visuals, email campaigns.
- Manage a content calendar across channels in partnership with the team.
- Repurpose long-form content into formats fit for social, email, or web.
- Monitor engagement metrics and report insights to improve future campaigns.
- Support campaign execution for SHx marketing, governance updates, and merchant rewards programs.
- Stay current on fintech and crypto trends to inform timely, relevant content across both Stronghold and SHx audiences.
What You’ll Own
In the first 6–12 months, you are the person who:
- Manages the content calendar across Stronghold’s social media ecosystem.
- Owns the response layer: replies, moderation, and the tone people associate with Stronghold and SHx.
- Owns the feedback loop that carries community signals back to marketing, product, and leadership.
- Owns the reporting that informs channel strategy, and brings a point of view to planning not just a dashboard.
Stronghold is growing fast and SHx keeps finding new audiences. That means the channels get more interesting, not more repetitive. If you want a seat where the work compounds instead of resetting every quarter, this is it.
Who You Are

Interview Process
Recruiter screen, then hiring manager, then a short project (~1.5 hours) plus a remote panel (~1–1.5 hours). The project is a slice of the real job (posts, calendar, a community reply), not a strategy memo.
